Hope In Her (HIH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating health disparities and promoting healing justice for Black girls, women, and Black queer individuals who have been affected by interpersonal violence and systemic trauma.

Our mission is deliver trauma-informed, culturally-centered mental health services and survivor support to Black women, girls, and Black LGBTQIA+ (BWGLGBTQIA+) individuals affected by interpersonal violence, with focusing on accessibility, restorative justice, and individual and collective empowerment.

We envision a world free from health disparities, where the well-being of Black women, girls, and queer individuals is of utmost importance. Our goal is to establish a society where family violence, workplace trauma, and school trauma are eradicated, and the adultification of Black girls is challenged and dismantled.
Our vision is one of hope, healing, and equality, where every black girl and woman can live a life free from violence and discrimination, with the support, resources, and opportunities they deserve.
